1. Design modeling:

Use CAD(Computer Aided Design) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc. to design 3D models. Designers create accurate digital sculptural models based on customer needs or artistic concepts.

2. Data conversion:

The designed three-dimensional model is converted into G code or NC program that can be recognized by CNC machine tools. This step is usually done by CAM(Computer Aied Manufacturing) software, which generates the tool path based on the model and calculates the cutting parameters.

3. Set up the machine:

Install a suitable tool on the foam engraving machine, select the appropriate tool type and diameter according to the characteristics of the foam material, and adjust the cutting parameters such as the speed and feed rate of the tool.

Set the fixing method of the foam material on the workbench to ensure that it will not shift or deform during processing.

4. Import program:

The generated G code program into the CNC system, set the starting point and other necessary processing parameters.

5. Automatic processing:

Turn on the CNC foam engraving machine, the machine will automatically control the cutter according to the preset program to cut and engrave on the foam material according to the designed three-dimensional model trajectory, and accurately cut out all parts and details of the sculpture model.

6. Processing monitoring and cleaning:

During the processing, the operator needs to monitor the processing status in real time to ensure that no abnormalities occur.

After processing, clean up the cut foam waste and debris, check and polish the surface quality of the sculpture model.

7. Post-processing:

It is also necessary to carry out surface treatment, reinforcement, coloring and other processes to achieve the final artistic effect and use requirements.
